
FLIGHT CADETS OF REGULAR CAREER COURSE 64 END FACULTY TERM EXERCISE
A closing ceremony was held on Thursday 19 June 2025 at Air Force Base Takoradi to mark the end of the seven-week Exercise dubbed Exercise Eagle Call for Flight Cadets of Regular Career Course 64 of the Ghana Military Academy.
The exercise was designed to build the cadets’ theoretical knowledge, practical skills and operational understanding of air and joint military operations.
Speaking on behalf of the Base Commander, the Flying Group Commander Group Captain Selase Yaya Agbenyefia said the cadets were trained in rescue operations, air traffic control and air operations to lay the foundation for their career as officers.
She emphasized the importance of mastering these lessons and commended the faculty instructors for their dedicated service.
The Acting Chief Instructor of the Air Faculty, Squadron Leader William Owusu, stated that the exercise focused on integrating air operations within wider land and maritime contexts, highlighting the significance of joint service cooperation and strategic planning.
He explained that the cadets participated in a range of classroom lessons and practical exercises, including helicopter operations, helipad construction, air operations room setup, emplaning and deplaning, as well as vectoring and marshalling drills.
He expressed gratitude to the Base Commander, instructors and officers for their efforts and support.
