GHANA AIR FORCE BEGINS TRAINING FOR EXERCISE TIGER’S PATH 2025

The Ghana Air Force has commenced training for Exercise Tiger’s Path 2025 with an opening ceremony held on Tuesday, 17 September 2025.

 

 

Exercise Tiger’s Path is a biennial tri-service competition organised by the Ghana Armed Forces as part of its continuous training programme aimed at strengthening preparedness and operational readiness.

 

 

Addressing participants at the ceremony, the Commander of Air Force Base Takoradi, Air Commodore Eric Yirenkyi, urged personnel drawn from the various Bases and Commands of the Ghana Air Force to work together as a cohesive team and dedicate themselves fully to the training. He further assured them of the support of Higher Command to enable them excel.

 

 

 

On behalf of the training team, Flight Lieutenant Godwin Kofi Dzissah pledged that participants would train diligently to achieve their goals and uphold the proud standards of the Ghana Armed Forces. He emphasised that the exercise would enhance participants’ knowledge and skills in leadership, endurance, navigation, jungle craft, offensive tactical operations, obstacle crossing, first aid, and marshalling in the jungle environment.
